JOHN BOYD DUNLOP PLAQUE

This is one of the most important pieces I have bought for my collection. It stands 4ft 6'' high by 2ft 6'', is cast in hard solid rubber on a steel backboard. It was cast in 1930 to celebrate John Boyd Dunlop's invention of the pneumatic tyre.
A very heavy piece which was secured to the wall at the Dunlop factory for my years before moving to the Patrick Collection Museum and then eventually being sold to me via Bonhams.
